Raymond Steenvoorden Triple Bridge Parool

Raymond van Steenvoorden argues in the newspaper Het Parool that politics and entrepreneurs should get along with each other better in the transition to renewable energy. As a everyone is aware an agreement in Paris has been reached in which objectives have been set in the race against climate change. An increasing part of the population acknowledges the urge of the introduction of a durability agenda.

Money is not the problem, according to Raymond. What is needed are decentral initiatives that through cooperation create a sufficient basis and through the involvement of the dedicated parties limit the risk of long payback period.

Cooperation can take place in all sorts of fields, along the lines of technology, but also between (semi-)public and private parties. Take in mind the preservation task of several housing cooperatives in the Netherlands.
