New high-voltage connection

Electric Power Transmissions

As of March 2015 Nicolien Vrisou van Eck has been deployed on a temporary basis at TenneT as Project Leader Process Control and deputy cluster manager in the cluster Southwest 380 kV.

This is the largest project currently being executed by TenneT in the Netherlands onshore.

Project control

Electric power transmission lines and their stations are constructed and older ones are replaced. This is necessary for an increasing future transfer of electricity. Nicolien had the task to sort out the project control of all projects within the cluster.

Realisation high-voltage station

Recently Nicolien has started on a new project within TenneT: the conditioning for the realisation of high-voltage station Rilland. Station Rilland will be a triple rail substation between Borssele, Tilburg, Geertruidenberg and Belgium. As an executive project manager it is Nicoliens responsibility to make sure the site is ready-to-build before the station contractor gets working.

With 20,000 kilometres of electric power transmission lines and 36 million end users in the Netherlands and Germany, TenneT belongs to the top 5 largest electric power transporters in Europe.
